The human instinct is to beat up the other guy when we are threatened. Maybe there is another way; namely, to love [unconditionally] the other guy when we are threatened. Our current national leadership has chosen the instinctive human way. President Bush believes he is still living in the wild west and the only way to conqueor the land is to kill the enemy. No one seems to be suggesting to him [and even if they did I don't believe he would listen] that maybe there are interests that both the Iranians [for example] and we [the Western world] have in common. Let talk about these, begin to build a relationship of mutual interest over these issues and then we might be able to deal with the more difficult. Keep HOPE alive.Created with ShoutPost
